It could've looked so much better if not for the golf clubs requirement.
The E-Ray 5 spoke wheels are so hot though.

Gotta double it for a P car with an engine that sounds like a blender and send your salesman to Tahiti for life… and the SA every yearDesertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 11:20 pmYep. Which is kind of a turnoff if you're shelling out $85K.

Golf clubs don't explain the trashy grids and the lights are also mediocre. They just needed to call some guys at Pininfarina and ask for help.

They ARE good looking ramz.....the E Ray is a cool piece of engineering and so much more practical than a Z06.....but the base price is close on paper (I assume there is a zillion dollar markup on the C8Z for a long time, perhaps forever)
the rear facing baby craddle requires teh m4 seat very far up. It wont fit in my driving position.
Front facing is no issue.

I feel like there is some sort of scam that is the child seat industry that is in bed with OEMs forcing you into the most expensive 3 row SUVs with captains chairs as an option...

But then you would have to drive a model 3, which is pure seppuku.

5N looks good to me. Model 3 is a heinous crime against everything good and holy.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 12:01 pmHow is a Korean EV any better ?Desertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 11:45 am

Agree to disagree. The Model 3 is a better looking car IMO. The Hyundai sometimes looks better in pics, but in person it is a pretty awkward semi SUV shaped behemoth.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 12:11 pm5N looks good to me. Model 3 is a heinous crime against everything good and holy.
I find it to be a very unoffensive and neutral design. Is it great or distinctive looking? nah. I think the sheer volume of these cars + their shitty and mouth breathing owners give it a bad rap. But IMO it is far from offensive. I.E it's better looking than any kia/hyundai sedan ever made.

I find all Tesla’s hideous, add in those breathers you mentioned above, and incompetent elected officials trying to force them down my fucking face…. Hard pass for me dog.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 12:37 pmAgree to disagree. The Model 3 is a better looking car IMO. I’ve seen some decent looking Kia’s and Hyundais, but I would never own those either.
Having a debate over cars we’ll never own.

I mean I had 2 teslas... and the new model 3 leases at $299... I think if I needed transport today in cali I'd pick the tesla hands down over any other sedan period. The value is hard to beat. But it is clearly not a very "desirable" vehicle in any way shape or form, other than saving money.

I read a few. And everything nowadays is a sponsored AD from the OEMs dropping on the same day from all the Youtube influencers.
The status of the independent car reviews is completely at this point.
They are all mouthpieces for the OEM, and they can't say anything bad because they will automatically be banned from next vehicle launches, and won't receive free airfare/lodging and goodies during launch events.
Jason Cammisas Cybertruk jerk off fest was the final name in the coffin for me.

Right. Never going to buy a Tesla. Your red Model 3 above with the custom wheels is a major outlier. My weirdo neighbor and his wife across the street appear to be some sort of COVID refugees from El Lay....they have a white model 3. My ride from LAX to home in the back of a newish Model Y getting my spine compressed by every expansion joint on the 1-10 in a seat low enough for a four year old?

My neighbor who was an early adopter doesn't have great things to say about em... car was out of commission for longer than the LemonX but he has more patience than someone with a 7 month CF.
