Cruising something slow on a straight road really isn't fun to me.
Wish it was,

Well an E30 isn't exactly a cruise mobile. However stuffing an LS in there is IMO the I6 is plenty decent... not like the car is dangerously slow...
However... a M52 or S52 would make it quite an epic OEM style vehicle... And all the gayges should work etc.

You're one of the few people in LIFE that genuinely puts being happy as #1.
Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Keep doing what you're doing because the car is looking awesome. Few if any others on here have the patience, skillz, AND cajones required to do what you are doing.

I'm mainly giving Chris shit for a mentality that normally has.

I'm with you on that one. I drive 99% of the time like and I live on the boulevard that invented cruising.
But for me, just knowing that my car can blow the doors off something off a light, or that exhilarating WOT blast from 0-50 after making a turn around is part of what makes cruising fun.
Woodward Bruising and whatnot.

Yeah, the C5 is fast, but not like yours.
