January 2018 Automotive sales

Chrysler

FCA is literally just funelling money into Jeep alone. :doge: + Chrysler are dead.
Jeep® Brand
Jeep brand total sales increased 2 percent in January to 59,703.
Chrysler Brand
Chrysler brand total sales declined 21 percent in January to 10,584
Dodge Brand
Dodge brand total sales declined 31 percent to 27,600.
Ram Truck Brand
Ram Truck brand sales were down 16 percent to 32,039
FIAT Brand
Sales of Fiat brand declined 43 percent to 1,229 vehicles.
Wow... ALFA is almost outselling fiat!

GM
GM total sales in January totaled 198,548 units, up more than 1 percent. Mostly cross trannys and :truks:
Volt is down 55%
Tahoe is up 20% :wtf:
Colorado up 25%

Toyota Tundra +25 Taco +36%

:truk: frenzy continues it seems, nothing new and alarming.

I would assume most of the :truk: sales increase contribute the trump supporters think they're going to be richer due to it's tax cuts.

I also assume Alfa is outselling, because dat crossover.

I'm really curious to see what happens to :doge:

Some of the coolest car products on the market, but sales figures don't lie. With Ram being it's own brand (and I'm sure those sales will tick up when the new model starts rolling out), :doge: is going to be in peril I think. Maybe they'll just make a Hellcat powered Journey or something?

Canada FCA plants got hundreds of millions to shape up recently. They took a mid Jan break to improve the plant/shutdown activities soooo maybe that had something to do with lower car sales?

Buick sold 13k vehicles in Jan. Toyota sold 24k RAV4s in the same month...
Buick Lacrosse is the only non Cross tranny doing well... 3k units last month which was a pretty big jump YOY.
