Tonight I will get a bit more fluid and hopefully drive the car for the first time in two weeks.
Putting the car back together was overall simple. Took me about three hours with Vandorin's help.
Even managed to clean up some wiring and grime. There isnt a speck of rust on this entire car. Its amazing how clean the underside of the car is.
I’ll cry. I deploy in under a week. I can’t afford to have a broken car in a house I’m moving out of.4zilch wrote:In4 can’t get car into gear

And he won’t computer. He’s a hermit if it’s more than 30 seconds online.

Good news!Barnes93cb wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 5:20 pm 50 miles down. No issues. But it’s snowing and I can’t get the car in the driveway currently.
I’ll just assume everything is okay for now.
I’m so happy this is taken care of. I leave Sunday and won’t see my car again until July.

Will you be able to DFD while you're deployed?

If it has a headliner and is painted it should help. If it's flat black you'll in it.Barnes93cb wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 11:54 pm Question for the masses.
Would putting a hard top on the car keep things cooler while using the A/C?
Im moving to the Texas desert. And it gets pretty warm. I know its a convertible and that the top down is always best. But I like the look of the hardtop and if it also had a benefit of added cooling that would make things even better.
