I read about this today. Interesting. I could see it going to a vote actually.
California's economy is gigantic. They not only have super dense cities, but they have tons of farm land, giant ports, easy access to AZN trade, and a shit ton of land.

Best state in most ways, but also horrible when it comes to a lot of things also. Taxes is one ... cost of living is another, traffic can be bad if you don't plan for it
