You should know your :poorvette: history better than that. The six cyl wasn't produced after 1955.

You remember that "old" Corvettes came with 6 cyls, but cant be bothered that it was only the first few years? How long did you think the 6 was produced for?

I knew it was only the first few years, honestly had no clue what year the one he posted was... :iono: not really into old cars like that I guess. They're beautiful but not my thing.

No I used the web. I would have guessed 3 engine options. I was surprised that you could get the dual 4 barrel and fuel injection setup on the hydraulic lifter cam cars.....This apparently went on through 1961. Starting in 1962, the fuelie was the big dick motor....solid lifter only. Top fuelie in 1961 was 315 hp....1962 was 360 hp, only 15 off the zenith of 375 in 1965.

This was news to me as I always thought fuel injection was the very top hp option in every corvette from 1957-1965. These useless facts were brought to you by Desertbreh.

C1 Fuelies are super rare as a result of them not being the big dick motors. They tend to fetch big bucks.
