We don't use teams, we use Google. And fortunately/somehow, my boss doesn't. He still uses skype that nobody uses, and has been spotty for me...I don't get a lot of his messages.

Hence why WFH has been a savior for me.

We just switched to Teams last week.
I was at first because new... but Teams is pretty cool. It was a 5/7 upgrade from what we did before.[user not found] wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 4:00 pmI generally like it. Way better than Skype and I prefer it to slack.

Google works REALLY well. I'm amazed that my ancient company jumped on that bandwagon a few years ago.

There were days where I worked from home, but people thought I was in the office. I lived close enough that if someone wanted to have a meeting, I'd agree to meet them in 30min somewhere and drive to the office claiming I "had to work from a different building for meetings or lack of desk space or etc"
It was fantastic.

Oh man, I stopped using Yeti tumblers for hot things because of this. They work epic for cold things with ice[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 11:17 am I have this yeti coffee cup that the company gave me. I like it a lot but it actually keeps my coffee hot too long.
Alpo problems.

We have two (the left in your pic). If you put the lid on to take on the road or something, it is still too scalding to drink even 30 minutes or more into a drive. Best to pour it about 10+ minutes before and leave the lid off until you're ready to go.
We used them at the beach for cocktails though, even in 95F weather they keep ice cubes whole for hours

I have AARPurple/red/my car's color, I got a white one for her birthday last year.
I am partial to a good old fashioned pottery coffee cup (ceramic, whatever it's called).[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 12:16 pm I'm up to four of the tall ones and will stop there. Just one of the coffee cups.

Big ceramic coffee cups are my favorite.
