Damn. Lot easier than cutting into metal and shit. This is on my list in the future for the car. I'd like to go with a smaller od cuz I liked how it felt in your c5. You don't realize how big and non sporty the stock one is till you actually feel a different wheel.

If you want to buy a C5 setup, mine is still here on the shelf. I've been meaning to sell it for months. 330mm Sparco IIRC.

So, I spent an ass load of money over the weekend, much of it was on tidbits that I won't bore you with.

I bought some seats.

Corbeau GTS II
Double locking rails, shaved 1" down for my tall and fat ass.

Big Brake Kit

Other than fixing the general issues to make it reliable ... enough, first order of business is to get the suspension apart, and begin to go over all the components.
I've gone through all the parts I've gotten thus far from Dubshow, and they're all there, not much for me to buy. My main issue is going to be tools, many of these bushing install require special BMW tools. I'm hoping some local people will be able and willing to lend what I need.

Mary-K showed up to the Test and Tune yesterday with an older M3. From what Derek said it was pretty ballsy. Maybe you can outrun him in a 2nd class and piss him off. LOLOLOL
I have no idea what class he's running it in but I saw it was pretty gutted out on the inside.

They're a little snug in the leg bolsters, but I sat in them for about 30 min should be good.
The back is super supportive, I just need to keep hitting the gym, and be less :melon:

Weather this weekend looks like absolute shit, kinda bummed, I got all my parts in, I'm ready to get my hands dirty.

Most of it's small stuff, little clips for this and that, various bushings, hoses, maintenance type shit.

But yeah...

....checking my cc statements, it's painful.

Spent the majority of the day fighting to get the clutch hydraulics installed, t'was not fun and very frustrating, nevertheless, I have working (not leaking) clutch hydraulics. I'd have it driving, but ECS didn't ship a bushing I need for the gas pedal assembly.

Onto the good stuff;
Seats!

I fit with a helmet, just, I have to squat in the seat a little. Deys super comfy, and look the part.Image

Thanks man, they're a little snug on the legs, it wouldn't be comfortable for an all day highway pound, but for hooning around town, 5/7.

The passenger seat is an OEM sport seat for reference, it matches the bolstering and style very well.
