You will get mega bonus points if you bring that to anything Lemons. Hell, I want it. Lol.
My friend found a 240sx that doesn't run for $500 that we're considering jumping on for the next lemons. If that limo was closer to me I'd totally pimp it. Lol

Edit: No title might be a problem tho if you need to register it and get insurance to make it road worthy. So consider that.
Edit2: I'd also lowball them to hell starting at $500K considering that he's gonna be hard pressed to sell that thing to anyone.
So the limo was a no go. Too many issues underneath in addition to the ignition and injectors all being trashed. Instead we now are the proud team owners of a 1989 Volvo 240. Instagram link below. Not meatspin...

A Volvo 240 will run on duct tape and baling wire.

Good call. Minor issues is one thing. But full blown drama is best avoided.
The Volvo looks good. I'd paint it pink and call it the Vulva.

Were picking up our 2x lemons cars this weekend. Gotta line up a trailer for em.

Many people say this, but the 1993 I had with 200k miles on it was nothing but problems that I could never quite resolve.

Its getting painted almost like an airplane with a shark theme mixed in. Should be a terrible garage paint job.

No, the electrical system was fine.

I had a severe idle issue that I couldn't resolve. When it was hot (operating temp), come to a stop light, and it would die. Then it wouldn't want to restart. It was an auto, so that meant left foot braking and shifting into neutral at every stop. I replaced all vacuum lines, the MAF a few times, the IAC a few times, fixed exhaust leaks (hoping that maybe the O2 sensor was wrong), and was about to replace more shit when I decided to cut my losses and bail. I even took it to a euro mechanic who specialized in Volvos and he couldn't figure it out claiming "these are all bulletproof, I don't get what's wrong".

Barnes, I highly recommend buying and carrying a spare MAF with you as I've found these can die at a moments notice and strand you. It's worth keeping one on hand.

We just got some awesome news on our lemons cars we're purchasing. Totally makes our theme.
When we get the cars I'll create a thread just for it.

I can't wait to see pics of this bitch chopped up. The boxy shark. The most un-efficient shape for swimming.

For those following. We attempted to leave town and discovered the car was rubbing too bad. So we took a hammer to the fender. Fixed

Made it to Austin without issue.

Stopped at buc-ee’s. Attempted to leave the parking and the car kept dying when we started it. Decided more throttle was the answer. Then to get on the road we started backfiring under throttle. Kept our foot in it. And took about a mile to reach highway speed.

We will ignore those issues and hope for the best.

2.5 hours left to Houston. Then camp for the night and some beer.

Now we are making our way back from Houston to San Angelo. A few pit stops and some photos of historical markers. This is turning out to be more fun than anticipated.

That is 100% possible. We did find a vacuum line unplugged in the car.

Took me 15 seconds to see and plug in. The car did run better after that and possibly from the injector cleaner we poured into the tank of the car. Car tried to die and blew a popped like crazy. And then ran much better after that. Its still a dog and has issues. But waaayyyy better.
