Exactly what happened with my before I knew it, the hood became a mountain and smoke coming out, with my airbag popped off.D Griff wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 7:47 amYep, the airbags deploying is wild. I had a similar feeling when I hit the buck in UT, it all kind of goes to slow motion, buck appeared in my peripheral, slammed on brakes, thought, he's coming out and this car isn't going from 70-0 in five meters, impact, bags exploding all around us.
I am for the Integra
Did the doctor report back on any injuries or treatments?

Hyundai is a knock off brand with inferior quality which is why Honda will always command a premium.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 9:02 pmI’ve been beating that drum for a while now especially since the 24’s are out which look great.
Elantra N is basically the Kirkland brand Hype R. Is that tiny bit of extra performance out of the Hype R worth another $10k in price? Not really. But is the brand prestige of Type R worth it?

I agree with basically all of this. It’s just good at being a car. Which I appreciate. There’s not much to hate here. Compacts have come a long way from the 2000 Focus I used to have.D Griff wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 6:58 pm I have to say, the Elantra is kind of dope. I filled up the tank and got 38 MPG hand calculated. The handling and comfort are quite respectable, it's super comfy and just a nice place to chill. I've weirdly gotten compliments on it from TWO people. 86 gets more but I would expect this to blend to nothing.
A few gripes:
- motor sounds like
- You have to manually select CarPlay each drive, no auto populating the screen
- SUspension is a tad econo box
- Motor is pure poverty
Good:
-New styling is way better, no fish front is nice
-Seats/interior materials/steering wheel all feel pretty darn nice
- Stereo is decent, tech is plentiful, driver aids are better than average. I'd probably rather not have 'em, but they're good
-EMPEEGEE
-Back seat space is quite plentiful, as much or more than my 328i had
-CVT isn't bad, manual shifting is quality for what it is
-Fun to drive on Pittsburgh twisties
I do wonder how much better a civic is.
Last Civic I’ve driven was a 2019 R and Si which I liked a lot. I’ve rented a few accords and I actually prefer this Elantra, more engaging drive, less enormous, more features, sportier seats.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 2:50 pmI agree with basically all of this. So the 1.4 in the fiata is a tune away from ~200hp, 180 wheel.

All the journalists and YouTubers shat on the 1.4T Fiata versus the ND. I really liked it. Driving the Fiata six speed on Angeles Crest was a highlight of my entire driving career. The sun rose over the mountains, incredible views, weather, road just pure top down fun. Maybe the best drive of my life.golftdibrad1 wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 8:13 am So the 1.4 in the fiata is a tune away from ~200hp, 180 wheel.

Walked in to the diller to pay for the Audi work and since our new shirts have the Chevy logo on them they asked if I was there for a dealer trade.
We all knew this would be the new normal for us.

There's no perfect way to do the C7Z flares. They look really cool but if you get close you can see where they get pinched or twisted because the C5 has a different radius to the wheel arch. I've also already rubbed through the back side of the fronts because the suspension settled more than I planned.
