I hate all those pills. Still waiting on mine to do what they're supposed to do.

Oh man... PM me if you have questions/concerns... it is quite something. Her insurance is paying for 'most' of the procedure which is cool but we're still in at around $11K out of pocket. Most of that is genetic testing and medications. Pre insurance the medications alone are $30K :disgust:

I would've probably opted to adopt a kid over this but I hear that is pretty rough as well.
Have you two tried the most extreme natural way thing ?
No booze, no weed. She is tracking her ovulations etc and you nut in her like clock work (based on when the app tells you) when you’re supposed to ?
That’s what we’ve been doing with no luck. I dropped the sauce down to TRT levels (even though my :jizz: tested fine on super doses), we both quit smoking for months (now it’s once or twice a month at most), neither of us drink, and we track her ovulations/hormones and all that jazz with no luck for nearly a year now. She’s getting ready to go in to see a specialist next month.

Like Dan, I’d rather just adopt, but we’ll see what this doc says when they check her out and we’ll go from there.

Mods so far:
- Phone mount
- Exhaust tip extenders (highly recommend. The stock sunken exhaust tips look weird).
- JDM OEM clear corner markers
- Some LEDs in certain areas of the cabin and trunk just for better lighting

I'm closing in on 600 miles. A few impressions so far:

- I absolutely love the color and looks. I smile every time I see it
- The interior design is perfect for what it is. No piano black. Just lots of great, matte plastics. Very usable design and all the creature comforts I could really want in a car like this (blind spot monitoring, CarPlay with a responsive head unit, nice digital dash layout, heated seats, good headlights, etc)
- Way more comfortable and quieter than the S2000. The wife doesn't even mind riding in it, which says a lot. It doesn't beat me up nearly as much as the S2000 did commuting in it.

Negatives:
- The sound system is kind of weird. Most newer music it sounds really good? Incredibly bassy for not having a subwoofer. But some older albums sound god awful. Everything is really muddy and unrecognizable. It's strange. Most podcasts are fine, but sometimes there are guests and words that end in S are overly harsh. Still debating to pull the trigger on the audio upgrade.
- The car is geared relatively short. Keeping this thing <4k rpm for break-in has been difficult. Can't wait for it to be over.
- Clutch feel is just like the 1st-gen, which is weird to say the least. It has this massive helper spring that's variable. As you depress the clutch, the force required is all over the place. Makes the whole experience strange. I bought a clutch spring that everyone says solves the issue, I just need to install it. Looks like a huge pain in the ass
- Shifter feel is just ok. Not Miata or S2000 level, but better than the 1st gen.
- The rev hang is pretty bad. I think once I get the clutch spring worked out, I'll probably get used to it, but it feels really unnatural to get off the gas so early when shifting.

I did the clutch spring the week I got mine, it helped a ton and made it feel pretty much normal.

It's a bit of a PITA but I did it in an hour or two in the dark in a cold driveway in NY. Doesn't require any special tools or skills, just being patient/lucky with lining stuff up.

Did it make the clutch a lot heavier in general? That's the only reason I've been hesitant to put it in.

On my 1st gen, I adjusted the grab point a bit and that helped, but it never felt right.

Nice pics man! I'd say I agree pretty much 100% with your pros/cons. Although I'd say the stereo is just shit, not weird.

The clutch is indeed odd, I didn't realize this was such a common complaint, I will look into the spring as well.

I really think the shifter is great, it's just relative. After a BMW it's :amazing: , after an S2000 maybe not as much. I'd say it's just as good as any Miata though, as far as I know this is the same transmission as an NC. Rev hang is just unavoidable, again it's there but it's all relative. It's way better than a BMW or VW product, it's not going to be an S2K which is from the days before rev hang.

This car looks fan fucking tastic. Those hyperblackish ramz go great with the blue. Enjoy!

I bet that if you measured it as a percentage of increased force needed on the pedal it would be "a lot" but in practice I found it went from feeling super light to about normal, like playing a video game to actually driving a car. I'm small and weak and drove 50+% city miles on a hill without any complaints.

in4review!

I am starting to get used to the clutch but it's definitely not my favorite.

I'm at 1,040 miles or so now, did a first gear pull. Honestly, I have zero issues with the powah/motor in this car. It isn't the fastest thing in the world but plenty quick to be fun.

I got sick and didn't feel like hanging upside down for an hour. I'll try to tackle it next weekend.

Finally got the title and plates for it though

Ordered the OEM Audio Plus upgrade speakers. It says up to a month lead time so it might be awhile. I'll tell you if it's worth it once installed.

I found $100 off coupon code, but shipping was $44. I'll report back if it's worth the $445 and a couple hours of time to install. I also bought it, because there's a subwoofer and amp coming out for it too. I guess it will be discounted if you bought the speaker upgrade first.
