Rode COTA again tonight, ~20 miles. Hit 34.4 mph coming down the hill from 1 into 2. Pretty pleased since between travel and the flu I hadn't been on the bicycle in two weeks.
Road bike want is strong.

Such as dis?
I've kept an eye on Bicycle Sport Shops closeouts, they have some good deals. Dumb question: my current bike didn't come in measured sizes, it's just a S/M/L. I don't remember what I have and have no idea what my size would be. Some quick Googling indicates that at 6' tall with a 34" inseam, something in the 59 cm range is about right.
I used dis to figure that out. Legit?

You’d probably want to start looking at 58 cm bikes. That’s the common size.stripethree wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 11:00 am Such as dis?

Thanks Fled! Good was good. Couldn't pass on the chance to buy a TA1 for the same price as the regular Trance 2.fledonfoot wrote:

I just need to grab the correct BB tool to pull it out. Rest should be easy.
Never a bad thing to buy new tools.

Spin Doctor tripod stand.
Spin Doctor shock pump.
Thing will not get a good seal on the valve on the fork. On the shock I don't have a problem with the fitting, but seems there's a leak somewhere. Give the shock a pump, gauge will go up 20 psi or whatever, then bleed over a few seconds back down to where it started.

The digital one? Hoping I can find one here locally. I want to go ride this afternoon!![user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 9:36 am
I use a Rockshox shock pump. Had it for many years, works great.
I don't know if other pumps are different, but the fitting on this Spin Doctor pump just doesn't seem deep enough for the fork, especially. While tightening onto the valve on the fork, the threads make contact with the end of the fitting, so it won't seem to open the valve and easily spins off if I move the pump even the slightest bit, which of course you have to do since it's a hand pump. I think I now have less pressure in the fork than when I started.

Just head to a bike shop? Shouldn't charge you to borrow a shock pump, especially if you happen to buy one.
