Review of the new Nissan Quest sedan.
It's basically the same size as a 2006 Passat at this point. With a 1.4T motor.
An interesting tidbit from the article: The author didn't get a chance to drive the version. Because it broke.

The problem with colors, as always, is sales. Bright colors are very polarizing to the masses. Paint lines at a factory aren't cheap or easy to transition, so you really don't want to flow low-selling colors through them because each is dedicated to a color and if the color is a low performer, that's money being wasted. Worse, is if a car sits for a while on a lot because of the color, they'll never order another.
Still, I think there's a lot of chicken or the egg on colors. If bright colors aren't even tried, how can they prove to sell (or not)?

and the gray-blue is only available on the GT
Red is probably my preferred color on these given the options.

The black is the best looking IMO, but yeah, I don't want to take care of it.

I dont know. Name a source who has shown anything like this about the interior. Its got alot of Z4 in the back if you look at the photo's taken as it travels the Ring. Autoblog, Jalop and most of the Auto mags are about the same to me. I read to see whats out there. Sometimes I find things that interest me. Sometimes not so much.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Thu Apr 12, 2018 2:09 pmDavestr wrote: ↑Thu Apr 12, 2018 2:06 pm https://www.autoblog.com/2018/04/11/toy ... de-7301643

I have an equal desire for a 2004-2008 Lexus GX 470. It would be a GREAT jeep replacement. And I would have no car payment.

They can be had for $6k-12k with under 150k miles. Should last to 250k. There is a decent aftermarket support. Gets 14/18mpg. Can tow more than
Some models have a BITCHIN fold up 3rd row seat.

I was looking at these the other day, thinking about one day finally building that F-Mod car if we end up in Charlotte with a real garage. Seems like a great option for non- people. 188x74" relatively compact footprint with bulletproof DOHC V8, 6500 lb tow rating, and fancy Lexus interior. For a little more cash you can go super low mileage and drive the thing forever:dubshow wrote: ↑Thu Apr 12, 2018 2:50 pm I have an equal desire for a 2004-2008 Lexus GX 470. I'd ideally go for a midsize van instead of an SUV but they don't sell any in this country except for the benz, ain't nobody got time for an out of warranty modern German car

Also: IIRC you want 2005-2009 for the VVT engine with a bunch more power.
