Hey guise, it's your forum breh Grambles.
I drive a 2006 Toyota Tacoma with 140K Miles. It gets 22MPG. It's not a Honda. It's not fast. It drives terrible and the paint looks horrible. But, it was cheap and the wife can drive it and it can baby.
Boy how the times have changed. From K04 MKV to Slow Si to a NFG truck.
Good to see everyone and no, I don't plan on over inflating my statements anymore. Got burned enough on it. However, MDX track car FTW
I hope I can contribute:
Long time, no see. Well...cause its a forum

Still do, yes. Product engineer manager
Negative. I'm down here in the south.
I go up to Ohio a lot though since most North American manufacturering operations are based there
Say what this guy drives a Toyota Tacoma isn't that sacrilege?
Yeah. Tacomas are as plentiful as loose women.
6 ridge lines within 100miles of me when I was buying. Plus they easily were 30% more in cost. It was either buy a new one for 35K+ or buy a Tacoma for $13000

I have fought very hard for Truk owner's rights here on DFD.Grambles wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2017 2:36 pm Say what this guy drives a Toyota Tacoma isn't that sacrilege?

Plus, Ridgeline is great, but it's not a hardcore truk. Tacoma is always a solid choice.
A) life man. Life. Kid. Work. Wife. Beer. All of that good stuff.
B) we are great man! We are practicing for number two right now, but little man is almost two years old now! He's awesome too. Keeps me very busy.
C) thanks. It happened 1.5years ago and I'm just now getting the hang of it. It opens the door a lot in the plant.
D) good to be here! I can't wait to sausage or unicorn a thread

Why drive an old truk though? New ones are so cheap you can't afford not to trade that old POS in...
Oh? Did you say something bad about APR?
Or take freebies from Unitronic?
Just speaking from experience. lulz
hmmmmmm. All of it. I am yours [user not found]. All.....yourz.
Great point. Here's my logic:troyguitar wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2017 3:39 pm

1) I sold the Si for $15K, wife wants to save for land around here (10 acres) and wanted to build up the savings.
2) Ridgelines were $$$$$$$$ even with the same mileage as the POS i bought.
3) I didn't want a car payment for monthly cash flow. Wife doesn't work cause she doesn't have to. She can watch the kids on my salary (while doing a little part time here and there for Therapy)
4) Ridgelines, even with my discount, are so hella expensive. I'd have to fork out at least $33K-$34K for an AWD Sport model.
It all came down to money. I figured, meh. I'll live with the POS for about a year until Honda gives me a technical promotion and get a free vehicle. After that, I'll have a new vehicle every year through them. I'll sell the Tacoma and CRV and get a Pilot or Odyssey.
Straight mid class american thing to do right?
You know, I ventured over to MK6 not too long ago to check what was up.
Same ole same ole. I still get reported post notifications in my email. Unitronic not liking something APR is doing or vice versa.
Such a political game to them. Those people seek out to ruin lives, I swear.
