These days really suck when it could be so simple.

Not bad. 7.5% hazy IPA.

Drake's is local and makes some good brews.

I think the over-saturated beer market is going to help out the very local, the way it was way back in the day. The big conglomerates have bought up craft breweries but I feel that the craft market then shuns them and turns to even more local breweries.

It won’t mean riches for the small guys, but the more the big guys buy up smalls the more the smalls will have the beer nerd market in hand. The breweries that decide they are content to make really good beer for a small area will do well.

Daddy/daughter date for lunch. I just happened to take her to a place that was tapping a keg of Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout today. What a coincidence!

It was damned delicious.

Brewed some.beer with :fax: today

Waxer stove and structural pot filler was boss.

I'm attempting to hop up an Amber kit. Around 1.05 OG. Shooting for 5.5% abv. The hop profile is hoping to mimic lagunitas maximus.

Fax brewed up his special chocolate peanut butter Porter. It smells fantastic. He got super :rage: when the potfiller to quick connect hose to chiller coil leaked.

He pulled the fax on me about his knowledge and thought his brew was rekt. I tried to comfort him that 3 minutes off boil before full chill wasn't the end of world.

Time will tell if we brewed something worth a shit.

I also inherited about $800 of expensive brew gear from rayray. ImageImageImageImageImage
