Maybe I just need to get way stupider and I'll make more money.
Its not that hes dumb. Its that he lacks a spine and common sense, remorse, dignity, the basic understanding of being a human, a spine.

Disagree... if you have to ask a bunch of people on the internet if two monitors will fit on your desk, you're a moron.

I'm still in the process of strategizing my accounts, and shifting out of the conservative investments mely mother had into more agressive stocks.

Bonds gonna bond, they're the same thing, but some can be out paced by inflation, so, there's that.

Too many pages to read back through. I know im about to break forum rules. But can we get this back on topic? Im very much so considering taking a few courses, reading some books, and actually attempting to learn what im doing.

What tools does everyone use? Ive been recommended a few channels on youtubes, ive started reading motley fool, business insider, and seeking aplha articles, zacks just to name a few.

I was recommended to get a TD account due to the tools that are offered. The thinkorswim tool will allow charting and more functions than robinhood. plus they have faster updates and more room to work with the apps and paper money tool.

We're now up to -3% total lifetime money-weighted return, with no bottom in sight. Apparently the idea of retirement really is a pipe dream, time to get a loan on a fucking Lotus and live in debt forever. :eeyore:

We closed at -4.61% lifetime. I think I'm pretty set on selling the :wankel: now and quitting cars. It's a rich man's hobby.

I just wanna ride bikes at this point. So much cheaper.
:word:

I sound like I'm in a bad mood today, but I have actually spent a lot of time the past 2 days messing with my new :scrooge: guitar amp and it sounds amazing. It's been more fun to play this $200 amp for a few hours than it was to autox all year.

I fired up Robinhood and invited some friends as well, which yielded me some free shares. If any of y’all are interested let me know we can use my signup link and we each get free shares.

It’s completely free trading which is :tits:

Sounds like he was considering a job with Edward Jones.

I've been contacted by BoA and AXA for financial advising positions within the last year. It's a hard pill to swallow taking a financial step back like that for a job that's a big unknown.

Series 7 and 66 training were both covered with both.
Thanks for clarifying. I was more interested in what series 7 and 66 training means.

Are those financial services trainings?

I was offered a financial advisor position with Edward Jones. You have to pass those test to sell stocks, etc

Could be a difficult time that sell stocks to people who don't understand the markets, especially for a new Advisor

It was a 3 month interview process. Huge upside but with small kids and a wife with a ridged schedule we just didn't want to risk it. We are comfortable. The step back in initial pay was ass too but the hours were the main sticking point

There will be a terrorist attack and it will crash. Until then everyone is going to pretend everything is ok.

Unless something happens like in 2008.

A Civic Sport would’ve been a better investment.
