If I paid for a brand new delivered car, I wouldn't let the dealer touch it. I'd demand them keep the plastic wrap if it's something I'm ordering from them, but if it's off the lot I'd specifically ask for them not to touch it so I could inspect it and prep it myself before going get a professional coating.

Heathen. The civilized world digs a 1m hole for extra privy-see and to not pollute the top soil with discharge and unwanted runoff.
Pinkies out.

it would be hard to pay 38k for a miata.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 6:10 pmThere's no upcharge for the color itself, the car as a whole is $38515 for a manual RF, and $35915 for a manual soft top.
Add $1000 for an automatic.
The 30AE is essentially a GT with the GT-S package and the BBS/Recaro/Brembo package (only available on the Club), with the Racing Orange paint on the body and brakes, and alcantara dash/door trim and matching orange piping/stitching inside.
It's actually a good value for the content you get, because you can't get the BBS/Recaro/Brembo package on the GT, and to add that package to a Club is $4450. If you were to theoretically add that package to a GT+GT-S equipped MX-5 soft top, you'd come in around $36.7k.

For others, it's the perfect car. It has no real natural competition anymore, save for it's Italian cousin, the 124. Everything else has gotten too big or too powerful, or both.
The closest thing would be an FRZ, and that car feels a lot cheaper in comparison (but I envy the fixed roof).

Don’t they ride rather well though? I mean the Miata could be a DD I think. At least a stock one.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 6:11 pmI backed out, and I'm glad I did. I'd have an expensive paperweight in the garage collecting dust.
I barely drive my as it is for several reasons.
It's been a year, my driveway is one lane wide, and most mornings I just don't have enough time to move all the cars.
Hm. Poor choice for me. Neat car though.

Also, Cali roads are not bad. I don't care what says.

Seriously tho, what would the Miata stock ND ride compare to? A GTI?

California is the size of Germany what exactly does “Cali roads are not bad mean”? Yes obviously we have some[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2019 7:55 pmIf I was a single person with simple hobbies in a warm climate, I'd totally daily a MX-5.

Amazing roads out here. But it really depends on your location. Population centers are fucked. And SD or whatever utopia you’re in, aren’t really

Roads outside of population centers and in between population centers are excellent. But you don’t see that daily[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 12:36 amI drove around LA, SD, and in between.
Seemed pretty nice to me in comparison to what I see around here.
