Noted. Next time it'll be $10 and $10 only.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 6:01 pmI always say that $xx,xxx.xx in CAD = $10 USD.
Be it $500 CAD, or $5M CAD, it's still $10 USD.
Back in the late 90's it sure seemed like that was the case. I would buy all kinds of stuff from Canada and it was always MUCH cheaper, even with some "crazy" shipping fees.

I think the proportions of the CLA are pretty jacked. IMO they're not good looking cars. Haven't seen the new one or the A class or whatever. But I'd have a hard time picking one of those when you could get a gorgeous CPO C class for likely less.

I never liked the CLA either. I think they're ugly and have a squatting ass that doesn't look like it was designed for the car, it looks like a transplant.. butt implant?? Lastly, I wouldn't want to buy the MB that is marketed as the Toyota Camry of MB cars. I would much rather GTI or Golf before a CLA every day of the week.

Only purpose it serves is to get newish college grads into the MB family early, but it still makes little sense.
Silly car.

either depreciation is pretty bad or accidents, issues have happened within ownership. It is cheaper than a brand new base E class.

I've ridden in my uncle's CLA45 AMG, white it was a great car to be in, it is quite smaller than my and not something I would recommend fitting people in a brim thats over 5'11'Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:16 amI like the CLA too, its the only merc I could ever see myself owning even as an outside chance

There's a few of them this price point, so I'm going to say depreciation on the MB cars sucks.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 11:11 amCorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:27 am

Matt Farah and some other guy were just saying on their podcast that some 2015/16 AMG that was $130-140k MSRP can be had for $50-60K right now and was a "steal".

What's the range on an eGolf?

Absolute shit, 105 miles or so. Which essentially means you're driving on a "red low fuel light" when it is "full".
Same goes for the new leaf. No one is making any affordable electric cars with range (sub 30k USD). Other than the bolt which is hideous and a bit more.

I never understood the point of electric cars with double digit ranges. I mean yea... "everyone drives less than 50 miles a day" type scenarios but that essentially confines the car to a city.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 1:04 pmWow, that's terrible.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 1:03 pm

Pure EVs with double digit ranges make zero sense. Hell, anything with less than 300 miles range is a tough sell in a lot of the country IMO.
