Yeah.... there's a reason my dad once got me a plunger for Christmas. Almost left it at the old place but brought it with me in the very last load.

I was pissed when I found out the contractor that did our kitchen destroyed the old cabinets. I wanted to put them in the basement for storage.

Nice save there. Cabinets in the garage are 5/7.

I made sure to tell my GC to save as many cabinets and counters as possible when we had our kitchen done. Managed to hang 4 wall cabinets and 3 floor cabinets with about 7 ft of counter on it.

Shelf space is nice, and countertop space on top of that is even better.

Got some summer projects coming up! Gotta get tile or something around the fireplace, and top the island with something, I just don’t know what.

I haven't posted in here in a while, but I've been doing a lot of home projects!

First, the fireplace finally got tiled

The kitchen counter/bar top was quite the project


We took a huge piece of Douglas fir and stained it to go with the floors a bit better


Put an epoxy coating over it, which is VERY flawed, but oh well


The whole kitchen looks quite nice now

Since the roommates moved out, I have a lot more garage space so I cleaned it all out and reorganized some things.







And a few weeks ago I pressure washed the driveway (not shown... new exterior lights that are more modern looking and motion activated)

That fir counter top looks 5/7!
