I was actually going to use an Ikea Fjallbo media stand for a shoe rack/bench to keep the cats from chewing on shoelaces.

I have more shoes than you think so I need at least two shelves. And black is a must-have. And damn girl, I ain't that baller! Hmmmm maybe the $40 Amazon one might be the ticket.

I admittedly laughed at $500 for an entry bench. But they’re real pretty so I said fuq it and suggested them any way.

A couple more bachelor pad mods from this week.
Never had one of these before. I dig it.
Nesting. Austin Energy should be paying me back up to $170 for enrolling in their energy saving shindig. From dumb thermos to smart thermos connected to Alexa in less than an hour. The E models were on sale for a pair, and the things it lacks compared to the nicer one, I did not care about.
And since the house is Unit B, well, obvious name is obvious.

After going through the light bulbs in the house to see what I needed, since a few are out and odd sizes, I decided against going with Hue stuff for now. The fans take E11 bulbs and even though E11 to E12 converters exist, I do not think the bulbs will fit. Instead, spending more money on some additional lighting. Made the mistake of browsing West Elm again and noticing that oh, my $50 credit expires Jan. 1... saw these lamps and

I have one more project to do - :pinshit: bedroom mirror project - then I want to post photos of the place again. Have the sofa, picked up some ottomans, put curtains up in the bedroom.. place feels super legit and I am very pleased with how it came together.
I was planning to do that project this weekend, then realized the car that I could haul Home Depot stuff home with has no seats and only half a dash. Whoops.
