Dang.. So o2 sensor and harness were replaced, and car is still throwing a bad o2 sensor code.. shop thinks that maybe when I hit whatever it was that ripped everything out, that some of the wires may have touched and potentially shorted my ecu.. if the car needs a new ecu, I'll probably dump it.

Touching the signal wires wouldn’t short the ECM, but it would cause a “shorted low” code.
Of the heater supply wires shorted, it should have blown a fuse and not the ECM.
Do you know what code is being thrown?
Edit: fuse blowing comment assumes that the heater circuit is fused. If the ECM drive the heater circuit directly (ie doesn’t use a relay) and isn’t fused and the supply wire is live, then yes, if it’s shorted to ground it will kill the ECM driver.

I have no idea, I can call the shop and ask what code is being thrown. Want to fly out and fix it for me? I can pay you in pizza and beer and compliments.4zilch wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 5:52 pmSAWCE wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 5:11 pm Dang.. Private shop. Pure Motorspots. Regarded pretty highly out here for VW/Audi.[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 6:21 pmPrivate shop or ?SAWCE wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 5:11 pm Dang..
