That's one reason why I talked myself out of a Camaro/Mustang. I can only go as fast as the beige camry in front of me and I'd rarely get a chance to open it up.SixSpeeder wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2017 11:02 pmI didn't miss my own irony as I typed that.
But it wasn't in that order, I bought a Camaro after the GTI's. Then I at all the extremely slow drivers in the area and sold it a year later for something more enjoyable and engaging at slow speeds.

The difference is accidentally hitting 80-100 mph after a few seconds of , that doesn't happen accidentally in my car, it happens after flooring it for a half minute. The Camaro would just putter (brubble) along in 2nd or 3rd gear at low rpm on my normal commutes, I can easily ring out the Abarf without seriously exceeding the speed limits on the same routes and it's a hoot to drive, it makes slow feel fast.

Max doesn't go over 2500 RPM. Making that much noise is embarrassing.SixSpeeder wrote:The difference is accidentally hitting 80-100 mph after a few seconds of , that doesn't happen accidentally in my car, it happens after flooring it for a half minute.
