If I ever open a bakery, this will be the first recipe on the menu.

Also my most traveled recipe, they frequently cross state lines. Getting packed in my suitcase and bound for New Orleans to be hand delivered to our resident Baton Rouge crew this weekend.

So this Instant Pot, or Instapot... The greatest thing teabagging in FPS.
Something tells me I need this. Who's using one, and is it worth it to get the amazon one that's $119 or I'll be fine with the Crockpot version for $58?

Wife got the Instapot probably 2 years ago, she's used it twice IIRC. It takes up a bunch of space in our little kitchen. It cooks things. :iono:

Man, that's the complete opposite of what I'm reading (from people that love this thing). There's people that say they're using it 3-5 times a week. I think the big thing for us would be that you can cook frozen stuff in it and not have to thaw it out. I'll put some meat or fish out to defrost and my cats will literally pull 5 pound rump roasts out of my sink and I'll find it on my office floor.

I've seen some good looking recipes for them I'll probably wait til they come down in price before jumping on though. I also have a tiny kitchen, so I'll wait for more counter and storage space too.
