Cheers, they do look really nice for a rattle can job by a
in a garage. I was going to rush to get them mounted, but since they look good I think I will allow the paint adequate time to cure. It's definitely still soft even though it is "dry" - the can says it can be handled in 3 hrs but takes 7 days to cure.

I'd wait the 7 days if you can. You want the paint to be as hard as possible before the tire
s start reefing on them.
Really solid job doe.

I moved them into my office for higher temperatures and lower humidity - they made the whole office smell like paint yesterday so they're definitely not dry yet. Today the room doesn't smell anymore, but the
themselves still smell like paint. Tomorrow and tuesday are the only dry days in the next week, I guess I'll just wait until a week from monday to get the tarz mounted and take photos whenever we get another dry day after that.

Yeah, tar
chipped my
on the R53 putting tires on.
Not pleased. This is why I need my own tire machine.
I'll come to you for mount and balance.

actually had this conversation the other day about generally how shitty tire
s these days. I haven't had a ram come back without some sort of defect in ages. 2 causes - carelessness and poorly maintained machines. When I changed tars in college, we had really nice Hunter machine. Plastic and/or rubber coating on all of the rim touch points. You'd have to go
to damage a rim with that machine.
Agreed on the tire changer
I'm considering picking one up.

It's only one wheel too, one spot. Other wheels are spotless. But there's no way whoever did it, didn't notice it.
I'm more pissed that I wasn't told about it. Whatever. I'll just have to find some grey touch-up and touch up the spot. I don't have the energy left in me to be
with the way things are going at work.
I don't have much energy to :trigger: anything anymore. It seems like 9/10 times it's wasted effort. No one owns up to mistakes anymore. The last victory was when I bought my FiST and noticed a bubble in the sidewall of one of the tires when I got home with it. I called them up and asked for it to be replaced, missed during inspection, etc, etc. Sales manager initially suggested that it must have happened on my way home - hitting a pothole, curb, etc. And that's when I went
and they replaced the tire.
