Can't touch a mid engine car that offers decent/good steering feel, cheap ass parts/reliability etc for sub 5k anywhere.
Poorsche would be way better to look at and have more power. But racing a poorshe is more for rich ppl... shit will break and be pricy, and all consumables are multiples of $ more expensive.
You essentially got a gokart with AC and some safety around you. And a decent class.
at all.
there have been plenty of gokarts bought cheap that have been rational purchases on here.

Engine belongs in the middle behind the driver. If you don't know this you haven't driven a mid-engined car or don't care enough about driving enjoyment/balance. It is completely different from driving anything else.
buy my wheels and i will drive them to you and we can race poverty to poverty.troyguitar wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 3:26 pmNo such thing as a front engine go-kart.dubshow wrote:

why is everyone creaming over this?
sure, its a great little car. BUT it will need 20 year old car shit just like any other 20 year old car.
im happy troy can finally be content in poverty car but this aint no new ground break formula or some
its a mediocre dill at best for $5k. but a great platform, just get ready for motor swaps. They are plagued with the budget hack job motor stuck in rear with improper coolant/air flow/exhaust design. will eat pre cats, so delete that. i mean these have some REALL WELL KNOWN fail points.
every car sucks
every cars breaks
every car can be had cheaper.
blah blah blah.
but proceed have enjoy racing it.

Maybe a tad TL;DR over 6 years of lamenting
but doesn't this replace the vibrator and for one car to rule them all?
I mean, my daily aint the pinnacle of Italian reliability but it has a warranty for just of 2x the price of the mrduece.

It looks like a fun car. Would be a disaster as an only car. Overall a Miata is more usable, a Boxster maybe more special, but this is quite unique and is basically the cheapest to buy and own mid-rear vehicle on the market.
