2018 Trance Advanced 2 gray
2018 Trance 2 (alloy) red or gray

Wyckoff Cycle in NJ has a leftover 2017 Trance Advanced 2 in gloss black / green. 2 hour drive, which is and honestly there's no advantage to this over the 2018 TA2 other than XT M8000 groupset vs SLX, and Fox34 Fit4 vs RS Revelation (a wash, really).

All large size.

I wonder if Saucon would since they have it all on hand...

Yeah I was looking around at other shops, and it seems 15% discount for the 2017s is about right. Which would put this at $4500 after tax. A 2018 TA2 is $4250 after tax. So.... $250 to go from SLX to XT, and Revelation to Fox34. :meh:

Gas and tolls and 4 hours of driving doe it's worth it. I'd need to find a Trance local to try out to even know if it's what I want. The Anthem was rad. Everyone I'm talking to says the Trance is less fun and less maneuverable.

All personal preference. If you like the color go check the bike out. It's a rad bike, lots of fun.

I just don't like matte anything. Give me gloss black bikes with minimal branding.

This is better looking. Wheels are still too shouty, but the decals can be removed. The downtube sticker thing is but overall better than the current colors. This is a 2017 Trance Advanced 1.

Well it's time to do something. My 29er, def broke the rear hub last night between how many times the chain got thrown off the crank and all the strange noises it's making.

Night riding doe. I came around a turn on this trail called Kitchen Sink in Belmont, and was staring straight at a fucking deer. There were like 4-5 of them all looking at me with their beady little eyes glowing from my light. Fucking creepy as hell. And lots of critters running around in the brush. It's so dry out there right now that even a chipmunk running on the leaves sounds like a bear attack is imminent, haha.

Definitely a mind fuck. It's dark as shit in the woods night riding.

Also hit up that new to me trail again last night. It's for sure. Even at night when I can't see anything it was rad and fun.
