Ordered a "tail tidy" for the Ducati today. We used to call them fender eliminator kits, but whatever... Got the evotech one coming as it looks the cleanest from what I can tell.

Stock tail:

Also ordered an S-C Project "Conic" Carbon slip-on for it.

The stock tail ain't bad looking, but the fender eliminators always look good.

Exhaust is a must. Set phasers to BRAP

A naked 1200cc two cylinder 150hp torque beast sounds right to me. I always loved this bike, even as a kid.

As soon as the contractor leaves here this morning I'm headed down to finish the deal on the Monster and hand over the check.

You should squid it up and just remove the whole tail section and replace it with your temp tag held on my 1.5 Zip ties. Make sure it's a little loose so that it touches the tire sometimes. That's how the cool kids do it.
And don't get insurance. Just outrun the cops, that's your insurance.

I haven't in a long time, but I've had the itch for awhile now and decided in not getting any younger.

Hope you're not thinking of splitting traffic amongst the sea of yellow and brown fobs down the 680... that's flipping suicide.

Apparently, Nigerians princes are bad drivers also.

Nope. This one probably won't ever go to work. I'm buying a Harley that I MAY take to work once in awhile, but my lane splitting days ended like 20 years ago when only 90% of the locals in the bay area were cart/camry driving furriners.

You people can't get google photos? ugh.

Friggen dropbox killing the direct links sucks, but it did save me $99/year.

Might be your privacy settings. When I linked right from my photos account people couldn't see them either. Now I just upload them to imgur.

Ducati is :jizz:. Now I see it.

Thanks.

What people said about the Duc's gearbox being tight is no friggen joke. With the motor running, finding neutral is nearly impossible and feels almost foot breaking if you are sitting still trying to come out of first. IF you get it to come out of gear without rolling forward a bit, it just goes to second.. and from second you always hit first. It's only easy to find neutral with the bike turned off.

Supposed to get much better after some miles, so we'll see. Much different from all my older bikes which had looser gearboxes from day 1.
