It also needs some structural work - sill plates on the south side are rotten, and there's some termite damage in the south rear corner. Plan is to blow out the back about 20 feet, lay fresh concrete, strip the structure to the bones and re-clothe it and repair any major structural defects, and then insulate it and electrify it. Overall it's pretty sound, it just needs some love.
FIL gave me a quote of about $4-5k to do that, so... maybe next year, late summer, we'll tackle it.
That seems like a 5/7 plan! Will be a sweet garage for sure then.[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2017 6:26 pm

Noice. My boss got a GE unit recently, loves it.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 12:22 am New microwave installed tonight:

Having my dad run a gas line for the dryer and help install Saturday.
Does that have a vent on the bottom of it? My mom had one that looked like that and I probably need one like that to vent from my stove once I get a new one.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 12:22 am New microwave installed tonight:

I was so happy when I got my new dishwasher. Only to find out that my woman didn't like loading it, unloading it, or even using it. It got accused of being my "favorite toy". All because I actually used it[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 10:28 am I measured the space between the microwave and the range. 15”. Plenty of space.
Also, dishwasher is out. Ready to accept the new one.
My only problem is that the sink still fills up. WHY DID I SPEND A GRAND ON A NICE ASS DISHWASHER FOR YOU TO JUST PILE SHIT UP HOOD RAT STYLE!?!?![user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 11:07 amIt’s such a time saver because I do the vast majority of the dishes. I ain’t got time to stand in front of the sink for hours.
