Anyone going to get the new Call of Duty? Waiting on the reviews, but I'd only want it for the re-mastered version of Modern Warfare. I hate the overly futuristic bullshit.

Same, I generally play during my winter and summer break, so roughly 8 weeks per year. What games have you been playing?

keep in mind I am old - that being said - I play battlefield, and MW2.

I preordered it on Amazon to get the remastered version of CoD4. I've only played MW so far though, so I'm not sure of the new game. I haven't played any FPS in a while and figured that I'd be better off getting back into it on a game I'm familiar with the maps first rather than learning all the ropes again at once.

I started off playing MW only and HOLY NOSTALGIA BATMAN. After that I decided to try the new one and it was good, it was not BAD, but I just don't like the futuristic stuff they're trying to do, although I admit that when I was playing MW I was trying to boost and slide and all that stuff that is only available in the newer games (AW, BO3, IW). The new one is very polished and I actually appreciated playing it even more after I started with MW because you can see how much better technology is almost a decade later.
