Exploder #1 got sold today. For those of you who don't know, this was a project that I took on about 3 years ago. Took me about a year and a half to remove, rebuild the engine with new components. I put the engine in and it spun one of the cam sprockets (because thanks Ford, there's no fucking indexing or keying on them) and :jizz: :jizz: :jizz: :jizz: went the heads.

Currently (up for sale), I've got the Sebring. I've actually driven this quite a bit lately. Nice car. Such luxury. :iono: someone take it please.

The other, non-STI, compact that gets horrific gas mileage but drives great.

Loved that car but yeah 15mpg on premium really sucked with 40mi a day commute.

I think one day a cherry R3 will command a premium. But it'll be WAY in the future. And a premium will be $18k. :lolol:

Love these cars though. Would own if the engine were more durable.

Sebring is sold! Some dingus had cash, who am I to say no?

Ok now I'm super happy with my car setup here. I've got the Saturn for fast shit, volvo for safe and comfortable daily commuting and the explorer for exploring and doing things like that. Really this is my ultimate non alpo garage. So now explorer mods time! We have been hauling about a half a ton at a time of pavers and stone from home depot and various contractors so I gotta beef this boy up. Got the surf fishing permit on the way too.

Add a leaf. Already have it, should add about an inch to the rear.

Debating a shackle kit, it's cheap but might be overkill, think it'll give me about another inch and a half on the rear.

Monroe add a coil or kyb adjust a gas struts? An option if we keep hauling shit. Honestly today the ass was dragging on the ground so bad you'd think it was a terrier on a rug with a hemorrhoid.

Torque twist adjust to the front will give me 2 inches on the front end.

Swamper tires? Swampers. Dick cepeks for full shittyness. Actually going to order firestone a/ts. My driving is going to be home depot runs and beach/surf.

Wife suggested Jurassic park vinyl wrap. I take advantage where i can with car stuff, it's in the running.

Light bar. Gonna happen for late nights on the beach.

Also going to add...i got to drive the w124 recently and the leather and interior still looks 100% brand fucking new. The Mercedes build quality in the late 80s early 90s was insane. It seriously looks like nobody sat in those seats after 150k miles, still looks the same as the pics I posted upstairs in the thread.
