It is. 5th wheels offer tremendous value.

Yep. I have zero interest in anything larger than our popup. But I can see why people like them. At least that space in the 5th wheel is utilized, it's a mobile mansion.

Correct. You can fit like 2 kayaks under the front hump/master bed. It's an impressive base camp. Crazy value for price on used dill.
I just hope he uses it.

Except for the part where you attach them to a $70K diesel truck.

update to this saga, he pulled that fucker to Cali and back to see the desert. Somewhere in NV he broke a leaf spring. Pulled into service station in BFE. They did a full rebuild/upgrade kit on camper for $5k in the parking lot in a few hours.
He was miserable pulling a huge camper and doing everything himself while the fam did nothing. Camper lingered around about 6-8 months and he fixed more broken shit on it. Ended up selling for $34k. So in actual money it was a wash from repairs and maintenance. In RayRay's mind he made $10k, so profit :lmao: That brand new 2021/22 hit the 2 year mark with 50k+ miles and was traded in for the 2024 GMC It is comically large and he has admited that its hard to drive.
Ray got a loaded $80k Genesis GV80 hoping it would appease his wife and fix his marriage woes. It did not and now he bitches about that not solving his marriage woes.
Ray's latest kick is the 356. Its a 1964 type c we've had since Katrina. It was a full restored car that was flooded in a garage in 2005. Ray saved it from getting junk/scraped. Its sat in his shop for 15 years now. He FINALLY made the effort to get papers/title right on it. The car as a shell has massively appreciated. Ray is now buying up engine parts left and right, against my caution. Not sure if a pic has been shared in this version of forum.
