One injustice has nothing to do with the others and this country went to war with itself to stop those who were practicing slavery, I wouldn't say that everyone was cool with it. Do you think that I would support any other religion/culture acting the same way, becuase I wouldn't/don't.

My point is that Islam does not have a monopoly on treating some people as inferior.

I agree that some actions need to happen immediately and on a big scale. There needs to be a plan in place that doesn't jeopardize the American citizens.

This might sound dumb, but I'm just trying to brainstorm:

-create an acceptable limit to the number or people who will receive permanent residence and base criteria on the capacity of the taxpayer or whatever makes most sense

-carefully select the families that enter, families that can assimilate easily (speak English, already have family in the US, no criminal records of any members, can get work quickly because they have experience in a field that's high demand in the US)
-set aside additional accommodations for those who don't qualify for the above, allowing TEMPORARY stay in a controlled space (certain hotels/shelters or whatnot) conditional on their safe return when the war ends and order is established.
