$29,000 with 8000 miles on it, I can't say that I'm sorry to see it go. It was fast, but the power wasn't usable without hitting go to jail speeds, I can rip through three gears up to redline in the Abarf without breaking the law, plus it sounds great. The handling is so immediate, there's a stark difference between the two cars though the WRX soaks up bumps MUCH better, you feel every bump and imperfection in the Abarth.
Dat anus shattering suspension :impressive:
At $29k trade in you didn't get totally boned on the Subaru.
:word:

I probably could have gotten more private party, but who has time for dat.

What's real world pricing and mpg/insurance look like on those?
:plac:

$13,000. It's a 2016 with 6000 miles on it with auto climate, heated seats, and bluetooth/xm. My insurance is $200 a month with lots of coverage, I've gotten a couple of speeding tickets in the last 2 years and used my insurance to fix some paint damage a year ago, so my rates have gone up a little compared to in the past. The WRX cost $100 more a month with equal coverage. I'm 28, male, unmarried, blah blah.

I haven't driven it enough to have a feel for mileage, but my 2012 averaged around 28 mpg with lots of city driving and full throttle.
Epic deal ! Congrats ! Not even salvage or anything ? :impressive:

29k for the wrx is epic too !

That would be lol, but it says not to tow anything with an Abarf in the owner's manuel. So I filled up for the first time today and found this:

Thanks. Nope, one owner who apparently traded it for a Fiata. That's just what they're worth, they come with a ton of negative equity brand new. Yeah, I really don't understand why anyone would buy a used WRX when new ones are within a couple grand of used. There are brand new 2017 WRX base models listed for $28,000 at a dealer near me. :mindblown:

They seem to level out around $10k despite the age if it's clean (back to 2012 models). They cost around $20k new usually, but there are poor souls out there who paid close to $30k for a loaded model that's worth $15k the second they drive off the lot. :dillerman: :moneypileonfire:

Oh dang, a 2014 with 50,000 miles for $9,976, accident free. That's way below average, I've heard that they can't sell them in TX but daymn.

Holy CHRIST. My man put 37k miles on it in 2 months. Maybe he realized it sucks as a highway-only car? 5/7 would buy a Civic if that ever happened to me.

I mean it's still a nearly-new decent car, it has to hold SOME value. Your :unicorn: :alpo: deal is nuts though. I'd trade the Vibe in for your deal... of course for me it would cost $18k and they'd give $500 in trade value plus charge 15% APR on a loan. :eeyore:

The dealer I bought it from had a couple of brand new 2017 Abarths listed for $20k, I guarantee they would take $18k all day. I'm telling you, my deal isn't that crazy, these things don't sell very well. Your Vibe is much more practical, this thing is a toy. It comes with a track day if you buy a new 124 Abarth or 500 Abarth. :stig:

How is the steering feel and feedback in these? Braking? Clutch pedal any good or is it GTI style :flaccid: ?

$13k for a 4-digit mileage loaded 2016 plus MSRP for your trade-in is absolutely :unicorn:

A new one at $18k is almost 50% more money...

Are you people so rich that $5k is nothing?

Yea the new one at 18k is not really appealing considering the 13k deal. That is :mindblown: That means someone got at most 50% of what they paid for it less than 1 year and 10k miles ago. :wtf:

Also the WRX at 28k... is just as crazy... who the F is going to pay what is likely going to be over 30k for a 30-5k MSRP car.
