$29,000 with 8000 miles on it, I can't say that I'm sorry to see it go. It was fast, but the power wasn't usable without hitting go to jail speeds, I can rip through three gears up to redline in the Abarf without breaking the law, plus it sounds great. The handling is so immediate, there's a stark difference between the two cars though the WRX soaks up bumps MUCH better, you feel every bump and imperfection in the Abarth.

What's real world pricing and mpg/insurance look like on those?

$13,000. It's a 2016 with 6000 miles on it with auto climate, heated seats, and bluetooth/xm. My insurance is $200 a month with lots of coverage, I've gotten a couple of speeding tickets in the last 2 years and used my insurance to fix some paint damage a year ago, so my rates have gone up a little compared to in the past. The WRX cost $100 more a month with equal coverage. I'm 28, male, unmarried, blah blah.

I haven't driven it enough to have a feel for mileage, but my 2012 averaged around 28 mpg with lots of city driving and full throttle.

Epic deal ! Congrats ! Not even salvage or anything ?

That would be lol, but it says not to tow anything with an Abarf in the owner's manuel. So I filled up for the first time today and found this:

Thanks. Nope, one owner who apparently traded it for a Fiata. That's just what they're worth, they come with a ton of negative equity brand new. Yeah, I really don't understand why anyone would buy a used WRX when new ones are within a couple grand of used. There are brand new 2017 WRX base models listed for $28,000 at a dealer near me.

They seem to level out around $10k despite the age if it's clean (back to 2012 models). They cost around $20k new usually, but there are poor souls out there who paid close to $30k for a loaded model that's worth $15k the second they drive off the lot. :moneypileonfire:

Yea the new one at 18k is not really appealing considering the 13k deal. That is That means someone got at most 50% of what they paid for it less than 1 year and 10k miles ago.

Also the WRX at 28k... is just as crazy... who the F is going to pay what is likely going to be over 30k for a 30-5k MSRP car.
