Been getting a flood of Amazon packages in, mostly things like towel racks, curtain rods, etc.
Hopefully after this weekend I'll have most of the trim work painted and done, closets shall have shelves.

Last major item is countertops, and those should be in between March 20th and the 24th, then all I have to do is hook up the plumbing and voila.

Did he scooch his bare bottom on your floors?

If he did, I didn't notice.

I really have no idea what that has to do with my floors, or Griff, but I lol'd pretty good at that GIF.

Skidmarks will be impossible to detect on the brown leather floors, my dearest :melon:

Also, that gif was legit :lolol:
You'll know when my foot meets your face.

Much progress this weekend.

Got my blinds put in. They're what I'd call middle of the road quality, they seem to not lay completely flat with the left side rising up about 1/4" higher than the right. I'll shoot the company an email, but they may just need to hang and break in.

Built, mounted and painted shelves for 4 closets, including the pantry.

Image

Finished the hallway bathroom, painted the trim, the walls, installed a toilet, shower curtain rod, and various shelves and towel racks.

This cool little shelf folds way when not needed. I didn't really need it to fold, I just liked it better than the standard above toilet cabinets.

Took a few pictures around the neighborhood. These are the new and improved FEMA trailers.

They got it a lot worse than I did.

Most of them have been put up in the past few months. Also, we didn't pass through that part of my neighborhood, those are further east, closer to O'Neal.

But seriously, the Manor looks 5/7. I know it's money you didn't want to spend when you did, but dude, you should be stoked with the outcome. That's some serious lemonaide from those lemons, IMO.

Dem fine corinthian leather floors. Such shades of grey. Much un-scooched surface. Wow.

Yeah I agree. It sucks how you had to go about it, but in the end it's great to suffer for one long period and be able to get nearly 90% of what you wanted done, done.

This is my mentality on this, having an empty house to work on is a luxury you rarely get.
