Yeah rock chips, greatly magnified BTW. But the front bumper and hood is taking a beating. Here's another pic. The rest of the car is in much better shape.

One of the great things about detail work on a Corvette is that there isn't that much paint to detail! You have the cloth top and I have an all glass/plexi setup so all you got is two bumpers, four fenders, two doors and a bit of hatch/trunk.

I love driving the car and take it out almost daily in the summer, I just don't think cross country expeditions are the way to go. I'd rather take a fresh new car with a warranty and roadside assistance in that case.
