I love the color in person. It looks a bit light in pics, seems different in different light so far but it is a lighter shade versus say the Toyota orange on the Tacoma/4R.

I really wanted the 86 the entire time but couldn’t find one. As the BRZ kept getting delayed I decided to start looking at the 86 again to see if any were available. Around that time I see the 10AE was shipping and orange has been my favorite color since I was a kid, I’ve also always been a color person… so I just fixated on this and finally found one at an “MSRP :dillerman: “ in Mississippi of all places, grabbed this allocation back in December but figured I’d have some DFD fun until I was sure it was a done deal.

Subaru place said all along I could cancel whenever, they were totally cool and refunded the $1k no problem.

It was hard to not go buy the BRZ when it was down the street and this was delayed in port in Houston but I waited it out.

OTD versus OTD it was like $4k more which is kinda dumb but whatever, I’m super stoked. Drove it 400 miles today, staying over outside Chattanooga and home tomorrow.

Nice! If you took the long way there are a ton of fun roads in west NC to take, although the weather was absolute shit yesterday.

Quick word of caution some dealers are not super good with the whole out of state thing. Make sure they don’t accidentally mess with the tax sitch. Some claim
They need to collect sales tax and you pay the delta etc

If you need some "winter" tires - I have a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's you can have for cheap.50 - there's maybe 1500 miles and 9/32" rubber left.

I might have a couple of GR trinkets left over in the garage. I'll take a look through my box of shit.
