I have never gotten a bonus at this company, which is OK, knew going in music industry and stuff wasn't going to be the most lucrative. I'll be getting a nice chunk of money for reasons soon, hopefully I'll find out more today from the overlords in England.

We've got our work christmas party tonight. Usually this is when we get our bonuses. Expecting something, but nothing ground breaking. It's been a good year for us and we're slowly coming out of an oilfield slump and looking ok.

Boss's wife posts this in our work chat. I didn't think anything of it.

Had a goal and 2 assists in a 5-1 hockey game tonight, hit the post once too. Now my legs are toast :doe: since we were low on players - I played the entire game, no one was on the bench. Won a bunch of faceoffs too, was probably my best game ever.
