Left San Juan yesterday morning and moved to the El Conquistador resort not far from where I was based/flying out of Puerto Rico in the East of the Island near Fajardo. Hit the beach on the island off the coast of the resort called Palomino. Nice ferry from the hotel takes you there(pic of the beach as you approach on ferry). Spent only the 1 night as its not inexpensive but it is amazing. Woke up to the sunset below and then off to the El Yunque national park for hiking rain-forest style.

El Yunque hiking today - Covering 28,000 acres, and receiving more than 200 inches of rain per year, El Yunque National Forest is the only tropical rain forest in the US Forest System.

Puerto Rico is a glorious island. Its got amazing things to do and its a great place to do nothing as well! Is it perfect? No. Nothing is anywhere but its got great food, beaches, rum and the people are great. Go! Thanks for letting me share this with all of you!

Also not to be that guy but the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park is a rain forest....not in the National Forest System but the National Park System. #kthanksbra
