An ellis-tuned 928 would be 5/7.

Yea, 928's are rare, doe. Amazon Green is a 5/7 color. Before I bought my brub tub, there was a dude selling an Amazon Green 968 on the local CL. The car was 5/7, but he wouldn't take less than $16k for it, which was compared to my brub tub for $1k more.Apex wrote:Detroit wrote:An ellis-tuned 928 would be 5/7.
928 came in
Old friend of mine had a 928 GTS in Amazon Green, same color as my 968

My want for late 80s to early 90's German cars is immense. My favorite cars to this day.

Same. That's the era I came of age in and I remember those cars when they were new and all the car mags were because murica and, to a lesser extant, Japan, were producing such shit in comparison.Detroit wrote:My want for late 80s to early 90's German cars is immense. My favorite cars to this day.

Yea, I have that connection with the C5.wap wrote:Same. For me, the late-80s-early-90's represented the pinnacle of German cars. They were crazy fun to drive, well built, reliable, and yet not yet rube goldberg machines with a million computers and electric shit wreaking havoc on the fun. Aside from my C5, my favorite car to day remains my 944 Turbo. That thing was awesome because of all the things I described.
