Whoa.
Weekend here wasn't too much action. Last week I was in NYC/NJ for work Monday-Thursday, then Friday I had an all day event with one of my customers and their customers (who were universities - Wake Forest, Duke, UNC, etc). We actually went to Trackhouse/GoPro for a go kart racing networking event which was quite epic, one of the best days I've ever had in this job. I got like 80 minutes on track, wound up getting sixth in the final race of the top 22 people but actually had the second fastest lap time. The actual networking was also excellent because everyone wanted to talk about racing each other, a very fun way to 'build relationshits' and so much better than chugging alcohol in a hotel ball room.
After the travel, networking, and racing, I mostly wanted to chill this weekend. It also rained all day Saturday and Sunday, but was warm so I went out for a 46 mile bike ride Saturday, hit the gym, went to a couple of Christmas music shows with . All in all

What???? You have two cars and your mom has a car? How do you not have need or want?
It would probably be a pain in the ass to get in/out of both if they were in there, I'd probably do the same thing, one car + tools/bikes. That's the bummer with most 'two car' garages, at least around here. It's a super tight squeeze.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 12:49 amWhat???? You have two cars and your mom has a car? Yeah ours is weirdly small for a two car garage. We fit her CX5 and my Elantra in it fine, but it was tighter than it should have been.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 7:25 amIt would probably be a pain in the ass to get in/out of both if they were in there, I'd probably do the same thing, one car + tools/bikes. Pretty much all newer builds here are like this from the 80s to today unless you're really lucky or into some super custom home shit.
It honestly makes me kind of fine with my poverty spec car port for the time being. It would be so difficult to find a decent garage I have just kind of given up on that dream.

There's no shed so keeping two cars plus other shit in the garage would just be annoying. Corvette doors are also fucking big as you recall so for the most part that will be the only car in the garage. I am excited to put the new headlights in this weekend or next weekend.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 12:49 amWhat???? You have two cars and your mom has a car? How do you not have need or want?

Dang there is like no offset to the right or left of that garage door/wall so it makes it difficult indeed. I thought mine was tight... but I have about a foot on each side. This one look like 3-6" at most.

I miss having a townhouse and not giving a fuck about exterior maintenance... yard work... etc etc. Having a TH + HOA takes care of 90% of home ownershit issues... however it does introduce some others. I think for first time home owners TH are superior... as well as for busy people... I spend way too much time maintaining house exteriors.

All of this tiny garage talk makes me . Once again, the insulated steel hangar is shown to be the residence of kings.

For everyone except Cale it would require a reorg yep. In your present circumstances I would install as close to a two deep garage as I could get away with.

For the record I believe hoovies 'busted ex' dumped him and (is attempting to) cleaned him TF out.
He hasn't said much of anything about it publicly, but 'comon look at the dude. You really think he's the type to step out?

For someone who wasn’t ready to “step out” he sure moved on FAST. And yes with his money I’m sure he has better optionsgolftdibrad1 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 2:56 pmFor the record I believe hoovies 'busted ex' dumped him and (is attempting to) cleaned him TF out.
