What was the previous most beautiful city you've ever seen?

I'm not sure. I've always thought of Portland as a beautiful city, but everything beautiful about Portland, Vancouver does ten times better. Both put a priority on nature, have modern high rises and craftsman style homes, but Vancouver seems to be cleaner, more diverse, less spread out.

I also wonder if my judgment is being influenced by the absolute perfect weather - 70 degrees and sunny, slight breeze. It's wonderful.

This trip will come in way less than $5k Probably around $3k. I found a hotel that actually gives free metro passes to all guests, so no transportation costs other than the <$10 Euros to get to the hotel from the airport.

Was true in the past maybe, not anymore. 2017 budget is zero (paid for with profit). 2018+ budget is $2k/year. Property tax is $1100ish/year. lyfe.
