I'm not sure. I've always thought of Portland as a beautiful city, but everything beautiful about Portland, Vancouver does ten times better. Both put a priority on nature, have modern high rises and craftsman style homes, but Vancouver seems to be cleaner, more diverse, less spread out.
I also wonder if my judgment is being influenced by the absolute perfect weather - 70 degrees and sunny, slight breeze. It's wonderful.

Almost every sci-fi TV show made in the past 20 years or so seems to be shot in Vancouver for whatever reason. Highlander, Stargate, etc.

This trip will come in way less than $5k Probably around $3k. I found a hotel that actually gives free metro passes to all guests, so no transportation costs other than the <$10 Euros to get to the hotel from the airport.troyguitar wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 10:49 pmLifestyles of the and up in here. $5k+ on travel and another $10k on property tax a year iswap wrote:Just booked a trip to Berlin.

You only do one trip a year? Seems like you're talking about trips way more often than that. Didn't you just finish a big road trip and/or cruise?wap wrote:This trip will come in way less than $5k Probably around $3k. Was true in the past maybe, not anymore. 2017 budget is zero (paid for with profit). 2018+ budget is $2k/year. Property tax is $1100ish/year. lyfe.wap wrote:You spend more on car shit/year than I do on travel.troyguitar wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 10:49 pm
