Usually have the constant stubble by trimming it each week. Often though, I get lazy and skip it for a longer period of time, but never even Sawce levels, and certainly not Acid levels.

If I could only start going grey, I could pimp out some smokey streamers like Kirk from Crowbar.

I don't mind rockin' a little scruff, but what I hate is food and animal hair caught in the facial hair. Drives me nuts.
Never would have guessed. :triggered:

I shave daily, even on vacations. I don't like the beard stubs, and I can't grow a full beard anyway.

I have a Chester the Molestor thing going on, it's 0/7,

I wouldn't even stubble if mine looked like that.

If you don't wanna shave often, I highly recommend
Image

Or if you don't want a whole production every time you shave, this is what I use when I was waiting for my straight razor to get honed in
Image

Blades are CHEAP, and those Gillette and other pieces of shit don't work half as well as a safety razor.
If you're a get up and go kinda guy and use an electric razor, more power to ya. Personally, those things yank my fucking skin and my whole neck and face turn red. Hence why I turned to the straight blade. You can shave a lot less often with it as long as you strop it before each shave and get it honed once a year or so. I have a stone but I couldn't quite get it right so I just sent it off to get rehoned.

I've been using a Merkur 180 safety razor with Feather platinum blades from Japan for about 10 years now.

Best shave ever from a razor after you figure out to let the weight of the razor do the work and not the weight of your hand. You learn this quick when you cut and nick your face to shit.

With a hollow ground straight razor you're never going to sharpen it right with a stone unless you are a master. You need to use a belt sander to do it right with the convex edge and then strop the shit out of it.

When I used to shave I really wanted to learn how to use a straight razor. Maybe I should get a safety razor for the occassional time I shave my throat/neck..

I would. The blade actually lasts a long time. Those ridiculously overpriced Gillette's and other shits that have 5, 10, 300 blades are worthless. The first blade does all of the cutting. When I was shaving, I straight razored for a while, and then I swapped to the safety razor and I'd shave weekly. I think I spent about $25 on a variety pack of different brand blades and I'm still going on the same order 3 years later.

I shave twice on a blade and I buy 100 at a time, so they are $0.25 each.

Beats the shit out of a $20 pack of 4 heads for a Gillette razor with that god aweful "lubricating strip".

TF was I doing wrong? I can't use the cheapo razors. They just get stuck.
I shave twice a week. Can't stand hair on my neck and throat. Will not beard ever. Hyuuuge anti-hipster here folks!

There's a brand out of Texas that I like called Beard Supply. Most of their scents are amazing. Only one I tried that I didn't care for was Deep Woods.. it was a little too musty for me.

That said. I've switched from using actual branded "beard oils" to just olive oil and coconut oil based hair products made for womenz. Way cheaper and they seem to work just as well. You can buy a 4-6oz bottle of something for under $10, instead of paying $20-30 for a 1-2oz bottle of beard oil....

But I stole some of this from Michelle the last few days and I think I like it better..
