Forwarded the Seiko deal to other half, looks like I might end up getting one soon too. I've been at a loss for what to tell her for birthday/xmas gifts that don't cost hundreds/thousands of dollars. I used to wear a watch every day for years and years but quit awhile ago when I had wrist issues. Turns out that PC games were the problem though, watches had nothing to do with it. It's been a few years now since I've known that but still haven't bothered to get another watch besides my "nice" fossil worn a few times a year... the Seiko looks good for pricing.

I have tiny wrists too so most watches make me look like flavor flav.[user not found] wrote:I like it especially because it's a good watch that isn't flashy.troyguitar wrote:Forwarded the Seiko deal to other half, looks like I might end up getting one soon too. I hate big chunky metal band watches.

$38 is wayyyy better than $185[user not found] wrote:Flight413 wrote:That looks cool! That movement doesn't justify that price tag though. This is my daily.

I paid $38 for it.
Sticker on the box said $185.

nice looking watch, Cool idea, but it would break by brain by having to stop and process it.

I dig the design, but not having 12 at the top makes it confusing. Certainly would be a nice accessory and not used as a time piece doe.

Would take a little to get used to I would imagine, especially if using it in rotation with other pieces.[user not found] wrote:Honestly it's pretty easy to read.Apex wrote:

One needle, the watch in the photo reads 5:30.

5.5, 5:30.
The Porsche tach concept makes it even better. Some mahtroy managed to move the Rev limiter up 1000 rpm

On the old air-cooled 3.0's you start to get valve float around 8k rpm IIRC.Tarspin wrote:Apex wrote:I actually really like the single needle design.

Got the seiko today, it looks quite in person. It's small enough for my baby wrists, though I still have to wear it on the absolute smallest notch.
The clear back so you can see the gears inside was a neat surprise too. Overall 5/7 for $38.

I got some new strap-ons. Wouldn't mind a shiny leather one for playing dress-up either but these were on sale:

Stock one is definitely more rugged, but with these I can change colors in 30 seconds plus pretend that I'm a NATO soldier.
Dat ish is nice... but those are like a k...[user not found] wrote:Dplac's gonna on dat.dtraill27 wrote:My daily driver. Shinola Runwell Chrono 47mm
Nice watch breh.
I like 's color options. I kinda get the urge to buy a new watch from time to time, but prevails. I wonder if my SHitizen has any resale value, IIRC it was like $300 new (ex bought for me).

I've got the 48 in orange. I wear it for meetings, etc.
My daily is a 48mm Runwell Sport Chrono with CF face. 5/7
