Anyone else think this seems really low for a turbo Passat?

I mean. The deal itself isn't that great because of the krebitz score. But that's a pretty solid price.

It is a mom car ... I don't know why anyone would want a 150lb heavier vr6 setup that won't be revved past 3000rpms

It is about a second faster to 60 than the cx5 that coined that term
Under 8 seconds we're getting into dangerously fast category

FL driving is a whole different animal. Rarely do people need to get over 35mph in Miami. This car more than satisfies the needs of Trudy's mom. :iono:

Plac's wife's cx5 was a 0-60 7.7 second car as well and claims it dangerously slow :iono:

When I had a passat rental (when the 1.8t were new), the only time I really exceeded 35 were on highways and heading to keywest. Southbeach and downtown its 35 city. Taking road trips in florida with left lane drivers driving 55

If you go 40 in a 35 down there you'll be looking for trouble. My dad's early 90s caddy STS was more then adequate on the A1A
