Rant incoming... but as I work on this car search, is up with FB Marketplace and why did it become standard?
I feel like every search I come up with different results, there is little to no info about listings, it is the most dumbed down way imaginable to manage a five figure purchase

FB is garbage but you have to use it because everyone else uses it. It's like measuring things in cups, oz, pints, quarts, gallons for hundreds of years...

It is that Craigslist now feels like it was some sort of amazing golden standard

I sold my C5 on CL by paying $5. I thought it was decent value, especially since the fee was intended to get rid of scammers.

So really...Carvana must pay a fortune to CL for listings. Or are they skirting around it somehow? It's all that's shown here too.

Carvana is also sort of ruining the whole I think they are a big part of the blame in this whole inflation period.
They must've had a hell of an investment backing, just came in and bought up a huge percentage of inventory at way over trade prices, but then were in a position to reset value as they own all of the damn cars available. Looking at MINIs, 4/5 of them are on Carvana.
Here I am about to sell my to them ... I'm not above taking advantage of their inflated buying prices, but it sucks on the buying end.

The problem is, it seems the world disagrees. CL is pretty dead anymore.

Easy big fella.... where else am I gonna chew up hours of my time, read barely literate, cryptic product descriptions, waste precious hours of time and get yelled at by rando's (because internet) all while making a solid $60 profit .....
TrueTalk = yeah it sucks
When is it making its way down?
Sadly I tossed the OEM C6Z shocks I had on it, offered them up free on CL and no takers. If I had them I'd throw them on and give you the Bilsteins, but nothing to replace them with.
Man this whole car search thing is just wearing down my emotions to be honest. I suck at making decisions, what I originally decided on was shot down, what to do here.
I want to want a Fiesta ST as it is probably the most fun/lower depreciating/reliable option, but things like BMWs and MINIs sort of appeal more. It's like I'm back to my 2018 car search all over again

Great time to sell if you didn't have to replace it.
