Btw you meant E90 with the V8? Not the F80 ? The E gen is plagued with a lot of issues unfortunately .. and it’s tiny in the back. Like you def can’t put a car seat and someone in the front

Yeah but E90 seems to be at the bottom of depreciation and is a lot more special. Both that and the F80 are interesting to me.

Not to mention, it could start to appreciate like some cool old bmw's do after 20 years.

My prediction … 41.5k tops. With the CB fee that puts it at market rates. 9k miles is a little high for most current gen cars also.

after I sat in one in person... I was pretty disappointed at the quality of the vehicle. The Corolla felt like a 20k econohatch and the civic felt a bit more like 35-40k. Yet their prices were a lot closer a 6 months ago... around 45k for the rolla and 50k for the shitvic...

I heard GR rolla talk and I want one, but disappointed to hear the interior feels cheap.

On another note, I’m looking for a daily to pair with so I can finally start treating this thing as nice as it deserves. I think I’ve made up my mind already (German with 3 character alphanumeric model) but I’m going to test drive its competitors before making the choice. Trying to stay under $30-35k used.

for now but I hope to add to the 2024 count if the finances make sense after I move.

So compared to an m3 imo the CTR is a far more usable aka throwaway car you can put some miles on without excessive maintenance/cost worries.

Imo I would feel much more comfortable taking it to 100k than an m car… better mpg, cheaper parts, better dealers. And probably close to the amount of fun… yea the i6 is far faster and rwd can slide sideways (where tho) but the civic is almost 1k lbs lighter… and is still quite a bit of fun

I would Acura but Hype R/Type S are a very unique proposition these days if you can get one at MSRP I would back that purchase all day.
