I was going to treat myself to a burger last night, but I ended up having BBQ. and I rode our bikes to watch sportsball downtown, we were going to grab burgers at this local pub near our house on the way back, but she was craving smoked wangs so we went to the BBQ place. It was 4/7, pretty dang good.

Only one more cheat meal this month doe. We’re doing a service for mom next Saturday and I’ll stay up in Lancaster that night. Coming home on Monday I have a friend’s wedding reception to go to (they did an elopement in Hawaii and just getting some people together for brunch for the reception now).. there is a pizza place that I’ve been wanting to try that’s on the way home from where they’re at, so probably going to hit that for my next cheat meal since driving all the way up to get it in Rancho Palos Verdes would have to be something that turns into a day trip.D Griff wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 11:58 am

Good. I was up at Boyne Highlands riding some downhill trails on my bike a few weeks ago. I'd be there every weekend if I lived closer. So much fun.
Bought the kids a Ball Python.
Supposed to be on a plane to Disney World right now but Rona

Nice! I rode the avalanche trail with my old man in Boyne City last month, incredible area for Michigan! I need to do some of the downhill stuff at Boyne Highlands one of these days, it's just an hour or so from me.
what a ball python is

Yes. Earlier this spring there was a baby garter snake in the yard that my son just scooped up without hesitation. It bite him a few times and the boy gave no fucks. He then wanted a pet snake. We went to a reptile expo and a few stores before getting a normal ball python. My daughter loves them too.
We have the snake in a glass tank right now but I bought it a new bigger cage yesterday. Now I have to get more hides and water bowls/vines etc.
Really want to go bioactive but not sure I need that extra chore rn.
Danger Noodle is the preferred nomenclature
This is me feeding him last night. Edit: that's not a live rat. Frozen then thawed dead rat. That's also a separate tub we use to feed him in, not his normal enclosure.

What are you feeding it? Got a heat lamp or hot stone?

Anyone here happen to know anything about Cruise? The autonomous vehicle company owned by GM, not the scientologist. The wife got contacted about a (non-software) position there recently and the only info about the company on glassdoor/etc is for software people.
