Yea, I've never understood this. They're always on the shittiest cars. Pretty sure your deceased loved one isn't proud of the shitbox you slapped that sticker on, homie...but nice try.

That was my thought. I mean. If you build up some old Detroit muscle in memory of your dad or grandfather or something, that's fine. But "In memory of mom" on the back of a poverty CRV with approximately 5 lbs of Cheerios wedged in the seat cushions and a CEL on?

I don't get it.

Stumbling and misfires are back with a vengeance. That didn't last long. I bet that spark plug recess has a half quart of oil in it.

It's an interesting decision for sure. Packaging is far more difficult with an I6, but the performance and smoothness can't be denied.

Per the article:
The new accessory-drive arrangement and relatively small 3.3-inch (83-millimeter) bore diameter yield a block length that’s not much greater than the retiring V-6.

6.2 is an option on LTZ and up trucks.

Just like any of the old muscle cars and that sort of thing. These have a following.

I'll admit, on the off chance I see a wood-sided Wagoneer I do a double take. They're pretty cool.

Old SUVs had supply fucked with during C4C. So many got destroyed, while demand has increased for reasons the article lists.
I've always wanted an old Grand Wagoneer, but at these prices :nope:

C4C really fucked the poors. Get rid of durable good running vehicles that were dirt cheap. Drive price up on remaining ones. Everyone loses.

Cherokee prices are the best example of this. You used to be able to pick them up so cheap and now they're like 10x what they used to be.

This thread does not show up on my feed on tapa. WTF.

My Mom had a Cherokee. Like an 85 or some shit. She loved it. It was brown with tan interior. :disgust:

Also those bitching about c4c... it really helped the big 3 and others at a time when everything was in a free fall. Also most cars turned into c4c were pretty damn shitty

Um... well without going too far into my personal life it is someone close to me and I taught in SF Monday so went down Sunday night and this was the vehicle we drove. I was the one who drove over the 2 days despite it being their car.
