APR finally released some flow-formed 18" options - I think these look really nice.

I would rock these... even trade for my Prets, let's go!coogles wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 4:24 pm APR finally released some flow-formed 18" options - I think these look really nice.

I'd have to keep my eye out but I'd imagine they're pretty rare for a euro car. Browsing through and Volk and Work don't even offer a 5x112 pattern on a lot of their wheels.Johnny_P wrote:

Ray's G25 start at around $760 for an 18".

These BBS RF's are pretty nice. Forged at $715 a piece.

I'm shocked they're not a complete rip-off too. They seemed to be priced pretty well and it doesn't look like they require centering rings either. I wonder who makes them for APR.

Those are what I’d always planned on putting on the MK7 eventually.
I kinda like the RSe102 in 19x8. And I don't even know which tires came on the car. I'm assuming they're Continental's but I don't know which model.
One positive about going with pretorias despite them being $608 is that I'd be able to sell the englishtowns and get some money back. Going aftermarket I'd be hesitant to sell the OEMs.

The English towns aren’t my favorite wheels in the world but I don’t think they’re bad. Prets are nicer looking but you’ve bent a bunch of them now. I dunno, do what makes you happiest! If it’s the BBS then that’s cool. If prets then that’s good too. I’d keep the stock ones if you go BBS for when you decide to sell the car if you have the room to store them. BBS are easy to resell.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 1:43 pm I kinda like the RSe102 in 19x8. And I don't even know which tires came on the car. I like neuspeed wheels. Did they fix the flaking clear coat issues?coogles wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 1:32 pmRSE122s[user not found] wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 10:33 am Neuspeed?

I THINK I was bending them because my tire gauge was terrible and I was running bad pressures. Once I got a new one I didn't have any issues. For sure if I went aftermarket I'd be keeping OEM as spares. While the englishtowns have grown on me and I don't think they're nearly as bad as when they first came out, I'm still not sure about them.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 12:16 pmThe English towns aren’t my favorite wheels in the world but I don’t think they’re bad. Good point about BBS too. Probably goes for any instagram wheel too. Advan makes good stuff too right? These seem

Yeah as long as you don’t put Ling Long tires on them.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 12:54 pmI THINK I was bending them because my tire gauge was terrible and I was running bad pressures. That’s why I went enkei for my winter wheels. Theoretically easier to resell. Nobody wants used Sport Editions.
I would definitely not be putting a cheap china tire on. Either the ones that came with the car if I kept a 19" summer or a PS4S if I went down to an 18" wheel.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 1:05 pmYeah as long as you don’t put Ling Long tires on them.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 12:54 pm

You’re better off finding a set of take-offs from local VDub groupsGberg2119 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 3:09 pm DAP want's $608 for 19" Prets. I'll have to check and see how much englishtowns are selling for.

OZ Ultras are an option too. 20 lbs in 19x8 although I remember reading somewhere people saying they're soft.
Yeah, that's what I thought.
So many choices for ramz doe.
