Thanks man. Agreed. Even if they gave me the option for the screening test I'm still doing the real thing since I have a family history. I'll have have to watch some porn to see how those women take the hose up the pooper and take some notes. just not sure if it looks better to the nurse if you cry, or put on a brave face and handle it.wap wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 6:17 pm[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 6:13 pm
I'd fucking off myself if I had to have a bag.
End of story. All the more reason to stay ahead of it if possible.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 6:15 pm
My mom has one, and yeah... it's no fun. She's had it since 1992/93. Colon cancer is a bitch for sure.
And sorry for your mom,

You're out cold during it so you don't even know what's happening and you wake up feeling great because they gave you Propofol.
And you're smart to do the "real" test because of your family history. Plus, if the doc finds any polyps, he can remove them right then and there so you don't have to come back another time. And if he finds none, you don't need to do it again for 10 years. Or maybe 5 for you since you have the family history.

Totally sincere. I'm occasionally a little clever on here but it you really considered that I was being saracastic I need to lighten my tone.wap wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 6:11 pm1) Happy birthdayDesertbreh wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 5:51 pm
I have not but I turn 51 tomorrow and the fact that you continue to bug me about it is cooler than hell. Thank you.
2) if sarcasm or sincere but I'm trying to be a bro, not a dick. It's important and really not a big deal. What tipped it in for me is when my primary doc told me something to the effect that once a white Murican male reaches 50, and doesn't/hasn't smoke/d, we don't die from that many things, but colon cancer is one of those things so if we can stay ahead of it it increases our chances of living longer and healthier and without a bag strapped to our leg.

I feel like the WK2/Camper will be a 2021

It really depends ... desert man shares his vehicles other dont at all... hard to make a rule that applies equally to all.
I would say at least 20% rule should apply. If you end up utilizing that vehicle 20% of the time/miles you should make the list

I think if they are in your very immediate family (no parents, etc) and they come out of your budget then they should count.

2018/19 was quiet for my household but we will either buy out or trade up the wife mobile in 2020 since her lease is due this summer. I think the wife is leaning towards
Retail price for her 2016 touareg is 26-29k here and the buy out price is somewhere around 25k. Aside from some dents in her passenger rear door and a front bumper that is scraped on one side it should be a clean break at the end of the lease. Will get insurance to fix the bumper in the near future. Tires may need to be replaced, I've got to find out what the minimum tread depth is to know for sure.
We do have three rows of Weather Tech mats and winter wheels and tars but I can off those in craigslist pretty easily and use the proceeds towards a winter tire package on a new something.
The truck has been good for us, but the head unit is really outdated and a PITA to use for anything ever. There is an intermittent rattle in the steering column that should get looked at before the warranty expires.
The trade should be for something with similar space but more fuel efficiency. Mazda CX5, CX30 (smaller but cool), Rage4 Hybrid or not (I get family and friends discount from the employee program so I save about enough to cover Freight/PDI/Taxes, advertised price is my OTD cost on new and the 2020 Rav is pretty much bug free and cleaned up if built in one of the Canada plants.
Maybe I could consider some lightly used thing, I'd like to have a in the family but wife unit rejects them and has face when I mention them.
It will probably be Jap/Korean/American, German stuff is a bit pricey and too full of tech, I actually would just keep the Touareg since it has a great trans and the raspy but adequate 3.6L VR6 and brakes that I think will last the majority of the car's life. It also runs on 87 which is
Other cars I like are the JGC which is proving to be fairly reliable, and look nice. Our Santa Fe held up great but I don't like the new ones.
